Rubric's Peek
Not to mislede***, but I lost my original heading:
Recession imminent if ‘fiscal cliff’ of tax hikes, budget cuts not averted, CBO says.
My second shot, "Rubric's Peek" is a pun on a Peak at the way congress put it.
Now that is the ticket, something about B.S.* as in Bowles-Simpson or "balanced solutions"**, not to mention "bumper snickers". It wasn't quite Sea QuestOr B.S. nor BaneOr C-Quest.
* "Off The Cliff-Notes" was not it.
(Maybe The B.S. Cliff /something.)
** place holder for better "off the cliff"notes.
i.e. not(nor) the link I hoped to find
*** the lede is this paragraph, Rubric's Peek my alternate heading
[I have refrained from overburdening with links, but did find a few that were interesting if not off the cliff. (at least prior to this sentence) And I still haven't found the simple explanation of the Fiscal Cliff, not exactly to ribble a hint: woof!]
Note: G'Ribble is not exactly in the last four links but... akin to a GPS of sorts.
Note: the exception proves the rule on links or peeks.

Moos Room
thanks to
The Colbert Report &
Mitt Romney***
(not to mention Aaron Sorkin)
MR-RM???
Rupert Murdock
Rachell Maddow
Cowpie Central ?
RL LR
Liaison Report!
[SEGUE]
Now I have stepped in it.
I could not have more Turd Blossoms** for The Newsroom.
Network meets Countdown for blastoff!*
HBO meets Swift Dawn Keys!
* I re-craft any Molotov metaphors.
** Not to Mitt-Flop stars or thumbs.
[Seriously, I could not have been more thrilled with the first episode of The Newswroom.
From the producer of The West Wing, an HBO drama begins for the field of TV journalism. The first episode and special features are available in the Top Picks section of Xfinity OnDemand even without an HBO subscription.]
*** I must eventually thank someone for playing a ColbertReport clip.

[The Newsroom, will get your patriotc juices flowing for the hope and changey thing of Edward R. Murrow.]

March Madness
Normally this refers to Basketball,
which involves a tournament.
Get in the Republican race and you can have your debate.
Even Comedy Central or MSNBC, should not be considered as early round qualifiers for the Final Four.**
* The Colbert Report or No Labels is not the shame, but Olympia Snow did come up. Being an enemy does not make you a candidate or a debater, let alone a journalist.
**Who would compete in this evolution?[i.e. Who would stoop to taking Sarah Palin serious let alone qualified to debate. Not that that would qualify her to advance to a final debate round. There was so much C-rap here, I thought I would d'ribble the punch line. Wouldn't we love Palin to actually debate*** someone of her watch-ama gotcha?]
[But speaking of tournaments, I don't think the Raw Money Class wants to be facing Obama anytime too soon.]
*** Buddy Roemer has left the building. Not to mention Gary Johnson.(C-Hillary Link*/see "actually debate" links.)

Under the Table?
The point is four legs[**].
Another point is that I have not posted them yet.
There just so happens to be four.
Not that they are Romney*, Gingrich, Santorum, or Hunt*[s]*man, let alone Paul.
*anachronism alert:
[**] done [As to in the process*** of coordinating the legs.]
[The previous four posts were rough drafted Thursday 1-12-12, here are some coordinated links.
Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, No Bain Or...]
*** [They are Rachel, Lawrence and Colbert, not to mention Schultz.]
[But the "under the table" is a reference to getting things on the table [!]
And the not so plane truth.]
[Sub-Text? Freedom is not a fool.
Here are the four posts:
Up Tight?
Triumvirate
Vulture or Social Contract?
Heterodoxy.

[And as usual Martin Bashir covers it
in his show.]
[Then(later)there is Dylan Ratigan, The War on War and Iran, or who ran?]
[And Al Sharpton with PoliticsNation]
[another four legs:
Center for American Progress,
OurFuture.org,
NewYorkTimes,
Foreign Policy,
and odd balance.]

Jansing&Co,
Thank you for having Grover Norquist on your show today. Shame on you for not having anyone hold him accountable, exactly. Yesterday and today Richard Lui sits in for Chris Jansing.
(yet to insert Liu/Norquist: here)
Earlier Segments.
Then came BraveHeart*: (or vice verse'em) Lui via Bashir
Not to mention Cantor's checkered comment or Little Bo Peep.
*speaking of herding** cats*** or dogs [!]?
** Ctrl F "cats"
*** not that I found the one I thought I would of Clinton herding cats.
Hours later: No Ticker Tape.
This is to Ed Schultz, Senator Schumer and Plato's Cave.
"Jobs, The Economy and Income Inequality."
Let us hope that there is no dancing in the streets for congress doing what it should. And as for a Ticker Tape parade for the Iraq war... the military does not suggest it. Of course it would be about supporting our troops, but the location in the Canyon of Heroes and through the financial district does not seem that main street.
12-23-11
(See Little Bo Peep: verse us Can't or dancing streets[!] [links added])
Reading Room:
Ron Paul Ghost Writing

Fair and balanced.
Corporations are people.
Happy Holidays!
12-28-11
Bubble or Boom, it is in the pop.
A Tale of Two Countries.
12-29-11
NOW with Alex Wagner: Keep quoting polls.[*]
Not.
Mitchell Reports: Huntsman hulling Iowa.
They pick corn? Awe shucks.[**]
[*] must find segment with poll
[**]Ctrl F "hull" in last two, must find Huntsman in prior 7 of last 8.

Lawyers and Politicians...
and Journalists Oh My!
The general loopiness is nothing new in my blog. Stepehen* Colbert piled on the sandwich metaphor "to infinity" recently, and I am in the midst of Through the Looking Glass(yes, on paper)and I do believe Dorothy's escapade was possibly ripped off from Alice's trips. Hence the lyin' and politics and bull market redux.
Ribble or theme?
[Nonetheless to reads. i.e. I won't count]
P.S. no pun on the Steve or Stephen
*[7-10-12 Type Oh! A-thru?(R) The Point: Colbert, Clemons, Benen, Kornacki, Oh my?]

Lame
By definition not so.
Paul Krugman
But meek to the geek.*
Speaking of which I have been under the weather for a week.
Speaking of anecdotal.
BTW: it is cloudy out, that makes me a meteorologist.
P.S. to be accurate apparently the exception proves the rule.
i.e. one error makes a counter case
* self acclaimed geek, Rachel, out geeks the more political than meek geek, Bill Nye, the Science Guy. Leaving his lesson lamer** then Rachel in the case of explaining why it snows more when it is warmer. Also anecdotal but none the less relevant, it was melting!

We got it!
We got the Nobel Prize!
Having been startled by the announcement, I thought oh no!
But that is only in terms of where the likes of "just a guy"* might take it.
ANACHRONISTIC SEGUE [***]
"Some are guilty by association and some are innocent by no association, with thinking." I had employed this phrase in reply to a buddy who is "just a guy"**, and victim of the Rand Illusion.
But seriously, the Nobel committee recognizes the power of hope and more importantly, people being at the table, let alone who gets it in the end.
* Dennis Miller and Bill O'Reilly agree: Glenn Beck is "just a guy"
** ironically a veteran and anesthesiologist
[Teddy, Woodrow, Jimmy, and Barack : Just Guys! ]
***there is a bit of preemption in the links and context but on the other hand it does just flow as read.
[Just a digg, the Barack link was originally RealClearPolitics.com which did not present [Correction:no longer presents] Obama's comments but was live.]

[update: 10-21-09 Joan got it and anachronisitically I clarify the segue at *** where I had just listed the [Just Guys]just before Obama held his press conference.]

Blog-Oi-Ya-Bleep.
A lot of water is under the bridge over the last few days. What was a bridge to nowhere has become the bridge-loan to nowhere.
FROM THAT WATER:(reply to an email from an Existentialist) I am not saying Rush is wrong about Blog-Oi-Ya-Bleep, but absolutely about the (Democrats)circling the wagons. Otherwise the administration would be cleaned up by now. Absolutely no argument. P.S. you gotta luv this argument (wink) - Has "no argument" taken a spin?
But seriously the media has.(wink) I can see how you can see that Obama is just as Teflon as Bush. But given the Republicans have had the Justice Department and still do... it is more than a matter of statistics. Somehow even Illinois had reason to be displeased with their governor, but... Oops! I slipped into my bleepin blog.
(there I go again)
So, there is still hope for us.
RATHER THAN...clutter this with links and footnotes I will just put this in con text by describing my friend the apparent existentialist. He knows he exists and also knows others exist based on the non-existence of evidence they don't exist. Think**: WMD and corrupt politicians. Also think: Rush to Judgement vs. Voodoo Justice (and Economics)
** 1-15-09 spell check done but note the preceding sentence was double-checked and is as intended.
4-24-13 (spoiler alert?) update Not Exactly: I cannot explain the link or leap, but in blog searching (b.s.) spell+check(2) here(3) there is the (sc) anomaly (Blog-Oi-Ya-Bleep.) and to a dead link at that.
